A Caterpillar in the Leaves,
A fictional work done for a school module "Publication".
The brief of this project was to promote National Parks Board, focusing on three parks in Singapore.

The title of my publication is "A Caterpillar in the Leaves", with the book written in the perspective of a Caterpillar. Throughout the book, the caterpillar (represented by three black dots) can be seen hiding in the pictures. Characteristics of the caterpillar are also shown through the chapter title in the middle of the book, which gradually 'crawls' to the top.

I chose a soft natural paper for the publication to replicate the delicate texture of leaves. I bound the book together with thread, and attached excess threads to represent tree vines. The box was also handmade and the publication was placed inside to show how nature is like a treasure that should be protected.
